This box is made from solid ebonised sapele and measures W150mm x D150mm x H60mm. The base of the interior is lined with tangerine orange suede.
The lid features tiger (brown) oak veneers, coloured tulipwood veneers and burr walnut with inlaid accent strips of sycamore. The handle is machined from solid brass.
For the body of the box nothing more than a gentle wipe with a slightly damp cloth thena polish with a dry cloth, should ever be necessary. The brass handle will get duller over time but a careful polish with Brasso (or similar) will restore its original shine.
The pattern on the lid of this box is based on the highly polished mahogany decks of Italian motorboats where the planks of mahogany are separated with accent strips of contrasting light wood, normally maple or holly.
