Meet the Team

Piyush Suri
Founder & Creative Director

With a passion for Handmade, Piyush also loves traveling, cooking and tennis. He has over 20 years of experience working in the craft and design sector in the UK, India and Europe. With a Masters in textile design from CSM, University of Arts, London, he also has experience running his own textiles brand and retail store for 8 years in London. Piyush has appeared as a judge in BBC2 TV series – Paul Martin’s Handmade Revolution (Oct 2012) and Channel 4 series Kirstie’s new celebrity craft masters (July 2019) and a mentor in BBC1 series Make it at Market (2023)

Saket Bansal
Co-founder and Technology Director

Saket is passionate about applying technology in the creative sector and is always looking to bridge the digital divide between the creators and consumers. He has over 20 years of IT experience in consulting and has worked with various Fortune 500 companies, shaping up their digital strategy and running large Digital Transformation programs. One of Saket’s apps won an award in the US in 2014.

Alis Clement
Events Manager

With a degree in Ceramics, Alis has over 10 years of experience working in events and craft sector. Managing  our in-person events, she enjoys bringing our shows together working closely with exhibitors and introducing new makers to our events.

Cat Lorimer
Sales and Customer Service

With enthusiasm for the magic of making in many forms, from costume dressing to fine art painting. Cat loves to discover new craft techniques – and loves to hear about yours! Passionate about the importance of craft skills in our history and culture, and the preservation and celebration of these skills in our changing world. She is always happy to help support our artists and visitors.

Nicole Rudolf
Finance and Sales

Nicole is Handmade in Britain’s financial manager and a sales consultant. She loves to chat with our exhibitors and enjoys hearing about their inspirational work. Nicole has a very keen interest in sustainability and circularity and admires our many artists who include these concepts into their works.
