Handmade in Britain

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Recycled

These products are made using at least 80% recycled materials.

100% British

This product and all its materials are sourced from and made in Britain.

Natural Dyes

Most natural dyes come from the use of vegetables, berries, roots, leaves and wood. In some cases, natural dying can be achieved through food waste and by-products, such as pomegranate rinds and avocado skins. Natural dyes have been used for the past 5,000 years, let’s get back to it!

Vegan

These products are vegan all the way through, from sourcing to finish. No animal products have been used and where applicable, plant-based alternatives have been used.

Sustainable Materials

These materials are ethically sourced, under environmental guidelines and practices. There is no use of plastic based materials such as acrylic. Jute, bamboo and wool are all sustainable, renewable materials that pass our sustainability check!

By-Product

These materials are left over waste from the food industry, such as wool and leather. Whilst people are still eating meat, we want to ensure that no part of the animal is wasted.

Cruelty Free

No animals have been tested on or harmed during any process of making these products or their materials

Organic

These products and their materials used are of at least 80% organic origin.

Low Impact

The product and packaging are made with plastic free materials or biodegradable alternatives. Packaging is also recyclable and recycled itself. With a Low Carbon Footprint.

Small Batch

These products are made in small numbers, to stop overproduction and overconsumption of materials. Small batch made products mean they are environmentally friendly, extra cared for and exclusive.

Artisan

These products are made exclusively for you in the studio or home of the Artist, either by the Artist themselves or by a craft collective of less than 5 people

One Off Pieces

These products are unique, one off designs made exclusively for Handmade in Britain.

Ethically Sourced

These products from each point of a business's supply chain are obtained in an ethical way, which includes upholding rights, decent working conditions, health and safety, and good business ethics.
