Divided horizontally into two equal parts, the top half of this box is Sycamore and the bottom half is Oak. Two equal sections of plastic laminate are bonded to the top of the box in a 50-50 arrangement. The inside walls of the bottom half are lined with Sycamore and the base and top are lined with light grey suede.

I’ve always been into squares, and I like the simplicity of two equal parts. In essence, that’s what this box is all about. Physically, it’s divided horizontally into two equal sections and on the top, it’s divided graphically into two equal parts, white and light blue.
