Visitor Information

Over the past 14 years, Handmade in Britain has worked to provide independent designer-makers across the UK with secure and far-reaching channels to connect with customers both old and new.

In recent years, not only have we continued to host traditional in-person craft fairs, we have also launched an online marketplace specialising in high-end handmade craft, as well as launched our series of virtual interactive fairs, designed to provide our British makers with an international platform. For 2022, Handmade in Britain is pleased to continue supporting designer-makers with the long-awaited return of Handmade Oxford – The International Contemporary Arts Festival.

Taking place at the prestigious Waterperry Gardens, this edition of Handmade Oxford will be a beautiful space for designer-makers to connect with customers, press, and buyers on a face-to-face basis. In addition to being a prime selling event, the festival will also provide designer-makers with the opportunity to host craft workshops and demonstrations, allowing them to further showcase their unique products and talents.

Keeping in mind the unprecedented challenges that have taken place within the industry over the past two years, this edition of Handmade Oxford has been curated to help alleviate the financial strain a lot of makers are now faced with. In an effort to do our part to help rebuild the industry, we have worked hard to find innovative ways to bring costs down for those wishing to exhibit, while still capturing the unique look and feel of the festival that we have all come to expect.

Partners and Sponsors

To support and promote British excellence remains central to Handmade in Britain’s vision for our future.”

It is extremely important for us to collaborate with our partners and other like-minded organisations that share the same ethos as us. If you are an organisation looking to contribute to the UK’s cultural landscape by supporting this leading international consumer event for contemporary craft and design there are many ways we can work together.

We offer cross-marketing promotions as well as bespoke packages starting from £2,000+ VAT and will be tailored to suit your needs.

If you would like to partner with us this year, we’d love to hear from you. Send an email to Branwen Bindra, [email protected] and we’ll get in touch with you.
