This is a Durable stoneware larger Textured Vase.
It was made using a wheel thrown base and a composite Textured and smooth strips of clay.
It has been glazed using a beautifully varying shades of purple and green glaze.
It is quite large, 40 cm tall.
My Potters stamp appears on the base.

Story:
I have made varying textured items since my early Ceramic years.
I still adore the use of texture, and on this vase I have enhanced the textures by using a colour texted glaze, and it has been rubbed into the outside and sponged off showing bare areas of clay.
