Description:

This is a stunning Black Beauty striped Ceramic bowl.
It has been wheel thrown with Sandy Vulcan Black clay and glazed with a satin Tin White glaze.
The interior has a satin finish Tin white with a stylish dip in the base, and the exterior has been striped using the Wax resist technique.
My Potters stamp appears on the base.

Weight 2 kg
Dimensions 23 × 23 × 10 cm
Care Instructions:

Durable stoneware Ceramic, however it is still fragile Ceramic.

Story:

This is one of my favourite techniques, using a very sandy Black Vulcan clay and altering the surfaces using wax resist, which is quite unpredictable, which adds to the intrigue of the expectation of the resulting pieces firing.
