The ‘Double Tendril’ throw was inspired by the winding tendrils of plants spiralling to reach the sun. With a subtle colour variation in soothing tones that features our unique blend of wool roving titled, ‘Forest’, you won’t find this colour combination elsewhere. This throw has a sumptuous weight with its densely packed wool roving woven in a spiral pattern. It can be used as a throw, dressing it on the bed or over a sofa to add texture or layered on the floor as rug to curl up by the fire.
Working with long lengths of wool roving, each row in the design is hand-manipulated and handwoven to create a unique pattern that features a unique blend of colours and fibres not found elsewhere. This process reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and time-honoured weaving traditions by choosing designs that cannot be mill-woven.

Use a steam iron to freshen your handwoven throw using bursts of steam. If soiled, hand wash in warm water, squeeze to rinse, lay flat to dry. Some felting may occur.
Use an electric wool de-fuzzer to eliminate wool piles.

This throw forms part of our Forest Collection, which combines the creaminess of Merino wool roving with the fibrous Blue-Faced Leicester to create a unique collection of highly-textured, handwoven interior products. Inspired by walks through British forests, these textured throws, cushions and lampshades tell stories of caterpillars crawling through the forest, animals burrowing in the undergrowth, plants spiralling from the forest floor and their colours, textures and patterns.
