This soft and textured cushion has a neat, rectangular shape that looks beautiful on a chair or equally beautiful stacked high with cushions on the floor for a comfortable, layered look by the fireplace. The natural colours and textures will blend with any interior setting for a modern rustic look.
Each cushion is carefully handwoven in our Oxford studio using only the finest materials. They feature a 100% handwoven front featuring a unique design with a 100% linen backing in a contrasting colour. We have washed the cushion by hand to help with shrinkage and finished it with a concealed, bottom zip.
Every step in our process reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and time-honoured weaving traditions. We also believe in sourcing all our materials from within the UK to minimise our carbon footprint and use natural fibres whenever possible as we aim to cultivate a more sustainable practice.

The ‘Caterpillar’ cushion was inspired by the movement of caterpillars. Using merino and blue-faced leicester wool roving ‘waste’ materials from our ‘Tendril’ throws that would otherwise have gone to waste, re-purposing these materials in a creative pattern that forms an integral part of our Forest collection.
We selected merino and blue-faced leicester wools because they best interpreted our design research, mixing wools and cottons in earthy colours to evoke the movements, behaviours, textures and colours of the plants, creatures and mini-beasts found amongst the trees and on the forest floor. We struck a balance between the fibrous texture of the un-dyed blue-faced leicester with the creamy softness of the merino.
