Ailish H

Ailish is a practicing artist who has had two solo exhibitions to date, one in London and another in the North East of England. Printed Textiles is Ailish’s main focus. Using her original works, she develops them into digital files. A British based fabric printing company is then assigned to print the designs on her favoured cloth. She uses this digitally printed material to create Scarves, Pocket Squares, wall mountable art and jewellery. As a practitioner she sees this as a crucial move forward; “one off” art can now be available for a wider audience to view and collect. Coupled with this, the fabric she prints serves as a durable catalogue of her design highlights.
