Forged from black stainless steel and copper/brass this modern take on traditional skills results in a hand forged coffee scoop for use and longevity. Perfect for use in the kitchen, as a coffee, sugar, hot chocolate or loose tea scoop!

Black stainless is kitchen grade stainless steel but when forged at over 800 degrees a black oxide layer forms on the surface changing it black in colour

-Handwash and dry thoroughly after use,
-Scoop will age and patina with time giving your piece more character without effecting its hygiene properties as brass and copper are naturally antibacterial.

Our coffee scoops may look simple but that’s the joy of an efficient functional design bringing modern style to a historic art form. Bringing blacksmithing into the modern day is something we strive for so all can hopefully appreciate the craft we love, it requires new design and ideas on ancient skills to achieve this. They may look simple but each scoop goes through 35 different processes to result in its streamline final form, they are a challenge of the eye, mind and heat all made by hand at a hammer and anvil. Our coffee scoops are our best seller with them normally made in small batches at a time by head blacksmith Billy each being unique.
