- If its very dirty give it a wash in warm soapy water by hand
- if its just used for dry foods just give it a good wipe every now and then
- wipe a light coat of cooking oil on after dry once washed then wipe off excess oil.
My very first kitchen scoop was made as a gift to may dad, an avid bread maker. Quite a few loafs later i decided to make a couple to see if other bakers would find equal benefit from a large scoop as my Dad. Its now one of our most loved products and mostly brought as a gift for the bakers in our lives, much as the very first scoop was.
Our scoops may look simple but that’s the joy of an efficient functional design bringing modern style to a historic art form. Bringing blacksmithing into the modern day is something we strive for so all can hopefully appreciate the craft we love, it requires new design and ideas on ancient skills to achieve this. They may look simple but each scoop goes through 35 different processes to result in its streamline final form, they are a challenge of the eye, mind and heat all made by hand at a hammer and anvil.
