The flowers in ‘Springing’ have been hand selected, pressed and designed with real flowers: saxifraga, dianthus, bluebells, astrantia, gyp, pink weeds.
The finished design is digitally photographed in a professional studio using a high-res prime lens and colour calibrated to ensure the colours are accurate to the original artwork to allow for large prints that are exceptionally sharp and detailed.
It is then printed to order with the Giclee method, using 12 lightfast pigment inks, on fine art paper.
Sold unframed. The best recommendation is to have it framed in a natural wood to complete the organic nature of the work – natural pine or oak frames look great.

The sway in the saxifraga (an alpine) and the deepness of the colour, with some of the stigma and pollen showing through, is a delight’. I love this against the bluebell parts and the pink weeds.
I use a professional pressing technique that preserves the flowers’ natural vitality, capturing their vibrant colours and exquisite details. Tending to my presses daily, I observe how they change their colour, texture, tone and shape throughout the pressing process which takes on average 3 weeks. I love using every part of the flower, from the tiniest leaf or bud through to focal flowers.
Just like nature, every piece is a one-off.
Floral wall-art to be enjoyed all year long that looks splendid in any setting!
