Alison Stockmarr
Alison’s work has an ethos of storytelling and repurposing.
Using original books, records and found ephemera she creates ‘Face Books’, ‘Picture Books’, ‘Collaged Record Covers’ and ‘Alphabetical Encyclopaedias’ .
‘Face Books’ are 3-D collaged artworks in original books with a witty take on social media.
Similarly, ‘Picture Books’ are beautifully illustrated book art, with collaged layers that illustrate the original book titles. ‘Collaged Record Covers’ are a recent addition created with her signature, playful, embellishments.
‘Alphabetical Encyclopaedias’ are her latest addition illustrated according to each letter of the alphabet.
Original works are photographed and A2 limited edition, signed giclée prints are available to buy.
