Description:

This tiny book is constructed from a walnut which has been split in half.
Pages in cream, light brown and orange have been cut to size and have been stitched into the book with red bookbinding thread. It has been bound with coptic stitching creating a decorative pattern on the spine.
Presented in a simple box this unusual book would make a unique gift.

Her hand stitched and bound books combine her own unique designed and hand silkscreen printed papers with a variety of bindings: creating traditional books for a wide range purposes. A series of small boxes for jewellery and trinkets are completely hand crafted with drawers and other contractions, all using Caroles unique papers.
Her books and trinket boxes can be found throughout the Uk at galleries and exhibitions including ate Craft in the Bay- The Makers Guild in Cardiff.
