Description:
This unique work is inspired by an early European ceramic beehive and is enhanced by a figure clutching a honey pot.
The piece has a deliberately distressed surface made from contrasting clay, its rough texture is embellished with small dotted lines that mimic the appearance of beelines.
After the final firing, I have applied a wax finish and lightly polished the piece to enhance its visual appeal.
