The acrobat has been made using the lost wax technique, I have hand-carved the figure in wax using heat and carving tools and then casted in sterling silver.
Then a silver hoop has been soldered to it .
It includes a 20″ sterling chain.
The piece has been hallmarked by the London assay office.
It comes with an organic cotton pouch to storage it.

Remove your jewellery before applying perfumes or any cosmetic.
Do not wear your jewelllery in the shower, pool or sauna.
Keep your pieces in the pouch or ziplock bag.
To clean : use a silver dip solution or cloth (any hardware store), brush with lukewarm soapy water and dry throughout.
I like the idea of movement and I imagine the figure coming to life while wearing it.
I have started by schetching different possibilities of bodies and postures.
The process starts with a block of wax, which is shaped into a torso and then the legs and arms are added. The wax can break while sculpting it and it takes hours to get the surface smooth.
I couldn’t tell how long it took me to make the first model as I usually get totally lost in time while carving.
“A piece is never finish, it is abandoned” , there is always imperfections in a piece that is hand sculpted in such a small scale, but that is what makes it more human.
