I have made this piece in the second lockdown. It is called Introspection and it represents the time we spend looking into ourselves, a time that seems to go through slower and it can give us a different perspective of our reality.
I took me about a month to make the first model as there was no rush to finish it., I wanted to get as much detail as possible and to be round and smooth.

I am Luciana, originally from Argentina and based in East London. I have been making jewellery for over 10 years.
I specialise in the lost wax technique and have recently incorporated enamelling into some of my work.
My pieces are figurative wearable sculptures, the hand sculpting of them a slow, intricate and instinctive process that can be obsessive.
The themes of my work are freedom, love, play and movement.
I believe the piece is finished when it finds its wearer.
