Wheelthrown spherical jug in a toasty stoneware clay and with vibrant eau de nil glaze and hand painted and drawn clem and leaf motif on the exterior. Plain eau de nil on the interior . Great size for milk, cream, custard, gravy, mayo, sauces and jus!
Can be matched with mugs, bowls, teapots extra large tea or coffee cups and a range of small medium and large straight sided jugs
All the pieces are hand thrown on a kick wheel, small variations in size and shape are part of this hand made process and the glazing is all by hand too so slight variations in tone and colour are a natural result. This adds to the unique character of each lovingly made item.

To retain the smooth sheen of the glaze we recommend hand washing these pieces
Please take care in the microwave as they get hot (iron in the clay)
There’s something so pleasing about round spherical shapes, they nestle so comfortably in the space between two hands – I wanted to make a jug with character – echoing the shape of my teapots but still practical for use.
This vibrant little jug just makes me smile and brings a splash of colour to any table or dresser. These fruity pieces are fun to make – drawing the fine lines of fruit and leaves with a slip trailer and painting on the glazes. I love the freedom of drawing on the pot in this way – and allowing the kiln to do its work – so the fruit stalks and leaves blend with the flowing glaze and create a unique image – no two will be the same.
