Wheelthrown straight sided small sized jug tapering to the rim in a toasty stoneware clay and plain glaze or hand painted and drawn cherry / lemon or clem and leaf motif on the exterior. Plain glaze on the interior . Great size for milk, cream, custard, gravy, mayo, sauces and jus!
Can be matched with mugs, bowls, teapots extra large tea or coffee cups and other medium and large straight sided and spherical jugs
All the pieces are hand thrown on a kick wheel, small variations in size and shape are part of this hand made process and the glazing is all by hand too so slight variations in tone and colour are a natural result. This adds to the unique character of each lovingly made item.

To retain the smooth sheen of the glaze we recommend hand washing these pieces
Please take care in the microwave as they get hot (iron in the clay)
Thrown with just over a just over 500g of clay these small jugs need very little trimming – the addition of the handle at leather hard stage and a final fettling and they are ready for decorating. Great size for sauces, cream, custard or jus.
Available in clean silky plain glaze : cloud or duck egg blue or vibrant eau de nil with fruit designs. These fruity pieces are fun to make – drawing the fine lines of fruit and leaves with a slip trailer and painting on the glazes. I love the freedom of drawing on the pot in this way – and allowing the kiln to do its work – so the fruit stalks and leaves blend with the flowing glaze and create a unique image – no two will be the same.
