Aly Storey Print

As a designer maker specialising in printmaking for textiles, inspiration comes from a process of visual interrogation of the natural and human environment and discoveries made through the action of making. Responding to my own briefs or commissions, I use my unique, original, hand screenprinted textile designs to make products for the home and fashion accessories. My textiles are printed by hand in small screen printed editions at Pink House Studio, some are digitally printed, then they are hand-finished.

The work I make is largely screen printed textiles, recently new textures and marks have been developed through experimenting with different methods of printmaking. I am also expanding my practice to include painting directly onto fabric using dyes.

All the items are handmade and slight colour variations between editions may occur from the images on the website.
