Handmade Inner Circle Stud Earrings. The circle, representing wholeness, perfection, timelessness and commitment.

Recycled Eco Silver Sterling Silver 925

Light weight, comfortable and super easy to wear, 13mm in diameter with sterling silver butterfly fittings.

Earrings will be posted to you in a presentation box

Care Instructions:

The easiest way to clean intricate, solid silver is using hot water and baking powder or dipping solution. Anti-tarnish storage is helpful and frequent wear prevents tarnish.

Story:

The circle, a geometric shape without angles, comfortable, calming and referencing rich symbolism. I have explored the Inner Circle theme in a range of my Jewellery. The delicate hammered texture of these earrings is inspired by reflections on quiet water.

Inspiration comes from elements of nature; my workshop overlooks the river Exe with its dependable seasonal rhythms. A fascination with a variety of leaf forms and methods of articulation have become an important focus. Beginning with drawings of collected samples and photographs, ideas evolve during the making process. I enjoy the tension and balance between form, function with the practical and aesthetic considerations of fit, comfort and movement. Curvaceous Euphorbia leaf forms are well suited to ‘sit comfortably’ with the body. I use simple traditional tools and processes, working with recycled eco silver and small quantities of recycled gold.
