Wheelthrown straight sided medium sized jug tapering to the rim in a toasty stoneware clay and with vibrant eau de nil glaze and hand painted and drawn cherry and leaf motif on the exterior. Plain eau de nil on the interior . Great size for milk, cream, custard, gravy, mayo, sauces and jus!
Can be matched with mugs, bowls, teapots extra large tea or coffee cups and other small medium and large straight sided and spherical jugs
All the pieces are hand thrown on a kick wheel, small variations in size and shape are part of this hand made process and the glazing is all by hand too so slight variations in tone and colour are a natural result. This adds to the unique character of each lovingly made item.

To retain the smooth sheen of the glaze we recommend hand washing these pieces
Please take care in the microwave as they get hot (iron in the clay)
Thrown with just over a kilo of clay these medium jugs need very little trimming – the addition of the handle at leather hard stage and a final fettling and they are ready for decorating. Great for displaying wild flowers or tulip blooms – or to serve water, juice or even margaritas.
This vibrant brings a splash of colour to any table or dresser. These fruity pieces are fun to make – drawing the fine lines of fruit and leaves with a slip trailer and painting on the glazes. I love the freedom of drawing on the pot in this way – and allowing the kiln to do its work – so the fruit stalks and leaves blend with the flowing glaze and create a unique image – no two will be the same.
