Wheelthrown bowl in a toasty stoneware clay and finished in eau de nil silky glaze with hand painted and drawn cherry and leaf motif on the exterior. Great size for soup porridge, cereal or salad – or crisps, nuts and popcorn!
Lovely size to nestle in the hands.
Can be matched with mugs, bowls, teapots extra large tea or coffee cups and a range of small medium and large jugs. Or mixed and matched with lemon bowls!
All the pieces are hand thrown on a kick wheel, small variations in size and shape are part of this hand made process and the glazing is all by hand too so slight variations in tone and colour are a natural result. This adds to the unique character of each lovingly made item.

To retain the smooth sheen of the glaze we recommend hand washing these pieces
Please take care in the microwave as they get hot (iron in the clay)
A fun practical and funky addition to any kitchen cupboard. These are fun to throw and even more fun to decorate: -drawing the fine lines of fruit and leaves with a slip trailer and painting on the glazes. I love the freedom of drawing on the pot in this way – and allowing the kiln to do its work – so the fruit stalks and leaves blend with the flowing glaze and create a unique image – no two will be the same.
They are thrown with about 600gs of stoneware – then trimmed to be light with a neat, narrow footed base stamped with my ‘seal’
In the same range are medium and large bowls, dishes, teapots, extra large teacups and small medium and large jugs
