The Tenbury collection of furniture showcases a stunning scalloped design, resulting in a timeless piece that will add elegance to any bedroom. This bedside table features a spacious drawer, paired with two sophisticated drop handles and a single shelf that is ideal for storing books or magazines. Handcrafted by Guy in his Worcestershire workshop, the bedside table was designed by husband and wife team Emma and Guy, with every join and detail meticulously thought about. From the “floating” top that is not directly connected but held in grooves that allow the wood to move without splitting to the custom drawer slides that keep the painted drawers from rubbing the paint off, this bedside table is built to last.

I first made this design just over 1 year ago, Emma handed me an envelope with some sketches in biro of the scalloped design for the bedside table and console table. we had just finished decorating a bedroom and Emma wanted something to match the Colefax and Fowler paper, so we choose the colour “Hopper” from Little Greene and after finishing the technical drawings, I ran to the workshop!
