“ROCKPOOL” COLOUR STORY
All those wonderful little pools of water on the beaches of Devon and Cornwall have inspired this new collection of art scarves. The original is painted on cast plaster and captures the experience rather than the reality of the rockpools I’ve been dipping my toes in. The painting explores the simplification of pattern, and colour as the light bounces off the surface of the water. The textures have been hugely abstracted on the large silk and cashmere scarves and accessories. It’s a lovely reminder of long Summer days.
