You’ll design and make either a Glasses Case or a Phone Case, choosing from a range of beautiful leathers to suit your style. Guided step-by-step through traditional leatherworking techniques, you’ll learn how to cut, stitch, and finish your piece to a professional standard. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a unique, durable item made entirely by you.
What you’ll do
Workshop Process: Here is an overview of all the different processes we will gently take you through during the workshop, each step will be fully explained and demonstrated with hands-on advice and support.... Choose your leather and colour; Select your design (glasses case or phone case); Cut your pattern pieces; Prepare edges and mark stitch lines; Punch stitching holes; Hand stitch using traditional saddle stitch; Finish and burnish edges; Add any final details, initials or embossing; And finally polish!

Catherine creates beautifully made, functional pieces designed to last and has taught leathercraft for many years.
