A small round jug with a little bit extra – glossy white glaze drips lusciously slinking down the toasty stoneware exterior – literally petrified in motion. Great size for cream, custard or gravy – add a bit of excitement to your dining table – see how many guests try and wipe the drips.
Thrown from 600g of stoneware and trimmed thinly for a good pour. A great piece to hold and talk about and practical to use.
To retain the smooth sheen of the glaze we recommend hand washing these pieces
Not suitable for the microwave
Take care of the drips - they are glass so will break if bashed
As most things do – these jugs started as a happy accident – a small glaze run on the dipped rim. A tricky piece to get right -the glaze needs to be just the right thickness to start the drip flow but not too thick to flow too quickly and ruin the piece by sticking to the kiln shelf. Kiln temperature and rate of cooling are pretty crucial too. Glaze runs are variable – and no two jugs will be the same, that goes too for the number and spacing of drips. Every piece is unique! Interior smoothly coated in my glossy ‘cloud glaze .
