This stunning centrepiece kiln-formed bowl is created from sheet glass and stringers. The opaque white base glass blocks any transmitted light coming through the artwork and illuminates the colours above. This artwork can be used as a fruit bowl or for cold food items or simply enjoyed as a piece of art.
I can also create this artwork with a translucent white base, which will let some of the colours come through the underside of the piece.

This artwork can be cleaned easily with glass spray cleaner and kitchen roll. It can also be washed carefully by hand in slightly warm soapy water, do not put through the dishwasher.
This is my personal favourite artwork in my collection and I have one of these on our modern white dining room table at home, which looks amazing.
It was featured in Vogue UK magazine in their ‘Contemporary Collection for the Home’ a few years ago.
It is a statement artwork that attracts people to my stand when I am exhibiting at Contemporary Craft events. It’s my most popular design and combinations of colours, no two artworks are the same, each one is unique.
