This ‘Enclosures’ fused glass wall panel is the first artwork from my new collection ‘From Above’
It is created from sheet glass and has glass lustres on the surface. Each intricate piece of glass is hand cut and smoothed on a grinding before being constructed into the design.
It has a wonderful handmade quality and reacts to light in different ways, depending on the time of day. It can reflect light creating a shimmer on the surface and it also lets through beautiful transmitted light.
Three wall fixtures are included with this artwork, as featured in the photos.
This piece sold to regular customers before it was even fired and all these images are credited to Sarah and Paul.
This is made to order, as this is a bespoke artwork, each design will differ slightly in the pattern and colour. From ordering, this artwork will be with you within four weeks, may be a little longer if you are not in the UK?

Over the first lockdown I was shielding for four months at home, it made me look at the world from a different perspective. Once I was able to go back in the studio, I stated to research the world from a different view point and my new collection ‘From Above’ was created.
My inspiration comes from abstract satellite imagery of the Earth, this piece was inspired from the English countryside and farm enclosures. This is just the start of a new body of artworks, I’m excited to see how it develops.
