Honey Fungus Large Round Stud Earrings are cast in recycled silver from honey fungus, giving them a very organic texture. They are 37mm in diameter and have a width of approximately 5mm. All are hallmarked with my maker’s mark with silver pin and butterfly stud fastenings. They are part of my honey fungus collection.

The Honey Fungus jewellery collection, was created by casting directly from the rhizomorphs of Honey Fungus (Armillaria mellea). This fungus can have a devastating effect in the garden spreading underground attacking and killing the roots of trees and shrubs. However, the network of rhizomorphs are extremely beautiful with an incredible texture and the resulting jewellery is visually exciting, dynamic, beautiful, and truly individual.
