Honey Fungus Holey Bangles are lost wax cast cast in recycled silver. The texture has been imprinted directly from the honey fungus, giving them a very organic texture. They are all made individually so differ slightly; so they are approximately 84g, 33mm wide and their diameter is 70mm, so equivalent to a large bangle size. All of the bangles are hallmarked with my maker’s mark. They are part of my honey fungus collection.

HONEY FUNGUS COLLECTION
The Honey Fungus jewellery collection, was created by casting directly from the rhizomorphs of Honey Fungus (Armillaria mellea). This fungus can have a devastating effect in the garden spreading underground attacking and killing the roots of trees and shrubs. However, the network of rhizomorphs are extremely beautiful with an incredible texture and the resulting jewellery is visually exciting, dynamic, beautiful, and truly individual.
This collection is inspired by honey fungus. The honey fungus is a saprophytic fungus. The jewellery is made by casting directly from the honey fungus and transforming it into stunning silver jewellery.
