Description:

Set on a solid sterling silver base, this dramatic piece features a sleek, black ruthenium plating a Precious metal from the platinum family that deepens every curve and detail. Matte-lustre black with subtle reflective accents

At its core: a vivid bullet-cut carnelian, glowing with fiery orange light, paired with a cool, faceted black spinel—like shadow chasing flame. The shank flows around the stones in a sinuous arc, while openwork filigree detailing in the setting adds a gothic, almost mechanical elegance.

Bold and elemental, the Flame Orbit Ring captures a moment of tension and motion—two opposing forces orbiting in sculpted harmony.
A ring of contrast and duality—fire and shadow, motion and stillness, boldness and restraint—made for those who thrive in the in-between.
Carnelian – A stone of vitality, courage, and creative fire. Said to ignite action and boldness.
Black Spinel – A protective stone associated with resilience and focus. Believed to clear negative energy and ground the wearer.

Odette Jewellery

Evelyn Odette Mulholland’s brand Odette Jewellery, draws on influences from industrial art, architecture and has a special interest in the science of the natural world. She believes jewellery is a form of engineering that stems from organic creative processes, it is drawn together with intricate mechanisms and components. Often sculptural or architectural in feel, they reflect a fascination with industry and nature, the classical and the kinetic. An interest in biomimicry has shaped her work, often lending static objects movement and meaning. Evelyn was born in New Zealand but emigrated to Western Australia in her teens. She sat at a jeweller’s bench for the first time when she was eight and gravitated towards the profession, studying Jewellery Design and Construction at university. She moved to London in 1999 and worked in Hatton Garden for 15 years, while also making costume jewellery for designers in Knightsbridge. She now practices from her workshop in east London.
