The subtle curves of the Ellipse table create an attractive first look. It is only when the beholder looks closer that they can begin to see the beautiful complexity of the design. When the pattern in the center of the table catches the light it comes to life and the beauty of the materials really comes out The craftsmanship can be seen through the hand cut marquetry throughout the table. Walnut has been used throughout the table to frame the table top and exaggerate each of the curves.

When designing this table I took my inspiration from some geometric drawing during a design session. The high number of curves and veneer joinery in this design lead to a complex make but also a highly attractive design, each table taking around 80 hours to make.
