Description:
An Egyptian Dog: Taking my inspiration from the ancient Egyptian gods Anubis and Wepwawet this one-off ceramic piece is made from a variety of clays decorated with oxides.
After the final kiln firing the piece was smoke fired and then waxed.
Reducing the form to a stylised minimum the body is in the form of an almost cloak like open fronted cone.
