Do not drop on hard surfaces as being glass the enamel can chip.
Plants and flowers have always been one of my main inspirations and here I have been looking at flower prints on fabrics and wallpapers. I like the repetitive pattern but also the slightly random nature as if the flowers have just been scattered. I hand cut stencils through which I sift powdered enamel and the piece is carefully fired in the kiln. Each layer has to be fired so it may go in the kiln 6 or 7 times. Lastly I add some pure gold foil to make the design special and unique.
