The circular Nabu earrings are beautiful tactile studs inspired by vintage Bakelite jewellery.
They are made from a vibrant coloured circle, which was cast in ivory white resin. After being formed on a belt sander, they are hand-sanded to a lovely soft finish.
Polka dots are then drilled and meticulously filled in one by one. The surface is once again hand-sanded to a smooth matt finish.
They are fitted with Sterling silver pins and the backs are made from smooth plastic pads with a Sterling silver centre. The pushback ensures a secure, sturdy fit for comfortable adjustment.

These studs should be stored in a box or fabric, avoiding friction with other jewellery. Please remove before showering or bathing. When needed, give the studs a gentle wash with water and a mild detergent. You can rub a little moisturiser with a soft cloth to bring out the colours.
The Nabu collection is inspired by the cosmos, the name derives from the ancient name of Jupiter. The designs are reminiscent of the illustrations of planets and galaxies.

Some pieces remain plain, others are ornate with scattered polka dots which are drilled and meticulously inlaid one by one.
