Story:

This beautiful necklace is made up of five woven Ivy leaves. Each cut out by hand and arranged into this delicate form to create a subtle everyday necklace.
Ivy is said to be symbolic of friendship and growth, and was an inspiration to me during my time living in London when I was often far from lush green spaces. I found Ivy to be an inspiration and a burst of life.

Fiona McAlear Jewellery

My jewellery is influenced by line, form and repetition in the natural world around me. Be it trailing ivy or falling cherry blossom petals. I aim not to replicate the natural form, but to create a handmade version of it, with its own unique aesthetic.

My four current collections reference flowers selected for their traditional uses to adorn the body, and values that time has bestowed upon them.
I aim to create precious, timeless jewellery that will last a lifetime. And then have another.

My studio is based at Yorkshire Artspace in Sheffield where I make jewellery for custom orders and for selected Galleries.
