Olive Green Leather Tote Bag

Each bag is made from Full Grain, World Famous Badalassi Carlo Leather and is finished with hand stitched veg tan leather handles and Clasp, with an antique brass fastener.

This leather bag is the perfect size for use as an everyday carryall, as a stylish work bag or a weekend bag.

Badalassi Carlo Leather – Minerva Box leather, tanned in Tuscany and is naturally tumbled vegetable tanned shoulder. The grain is not printed and will therefore vary from skin to skin and within the skin itself. Each hide is treated with extracts of trunk and bark inside wood barrels, greased with a mixture of animal fats and then coloured in a drum. Pulling up the skin beneath will reveal a depth of rich colour

Vegetable tanned leather refers to the tannage, or method of tanning the cowhide into leather. It’s called “vegetable” because of the natural materials used in the tanning.
