Tom Morley Pottery

Thomas Morley is a contemporary British Ceramic artist and potter, specialising in modern
slipware. Working with clay was born out of recovery. Recovery from a brain tumour
operation. Finding something practical but artistic was a need. At a time when he was left
physically and mentally restricted. Ceramics became a way, to try and understand the world
that encompassed him. A personal visual Language rooted in nature and the universe.
Spontaneous and disciplined, it is a form away from conventional art forms, transforming
the everyday in to an abstract expression of limitless form.
