A traditional spinning top given to Hazel by her Grandmother has inspired these intriguing and fun collections ‘Tradition with a Twist’, ‘Spin Within’ and ‘Dendrites’. These kinetic designs originated from Hazel’s desire to play with the jewellery she was wearing. Geometric forms in the urban environment of Birmingham influenced the original designs along with the playful aspect and colour of children’s toys. Latterly the Dendrites collection was inspired by geometric shapes found in nature such as (snowflakes). Cutting edge technology has also helped to give a precision to the jewellery.
