A finely thrown bowl shaped cup with a well finished foot – great to warm the hands on a cup of something hot
For those of us who like a proper cup of tea or a decent cafe au lait

All the pieces are hand thrown on a kick wheel, small variations in size and shape are part of this hand made process and the glazing is all by hand too so slight variations in tone and colour are a natural result. This adds to the unique character of each lovingly made item.

To retain the smooth sheen of the glaze we recommend hand washing these pieces
Please take care in the microwave as they get hot (iron in the clay)
My perfect coffee cup– I wanted to make a cup that I liked drinking tea from, that would look good in any kitchen and felt great to hold in the hand. It took many experiments to perfect this form – the edge of rim has to be right both in the thickness of the clay and the glaze that touches the lips. I love the unexpected toasting of the clay – as the silky smooth glaze and raw pot fuse in the kiln, some magic occurs, tingeing the clay with a warm rich hue.
The fruity pieces are fun to make: – drawing the fine lines of fruit and leaves with a slip trailer and painting on the glazes. I love the freedom of drawing on the pot in this way – and allowing the kiln to do its work – so the fruit stalks and leaves blend with the flowing glaze and create a unique image – no two will be the same
In the same range are small bowls, dishes, teapots, extra large teacups and small medium and large jugs, large bowls and platters
