Thunbergia mysorensis (n) – also called Indian Clock Vine or Lady’s Slipper, is a species of flowering plant native to south- ern tropical India.
Inspired by the work of William Morris, this design brings flowing Arts and Crafts foliage bang up to date with a tropical hanging vine straight from the jungles of India. The repeat tile print is hand-painted in watercolours, meaning there is some variation from scarf to scarf, in keeping with William Morris’ vision to create artisan, hand-crafted pieces to treasure.
Our Aviator style scarves are inspired by Amelia Earhart and are finished with a fine fringe to the ends to make them the perfect shape to swoosh out behind you while flying a plane, or just strutting your stuff down the high street.
The Daylight Bright Indian Clock Vine print scarf is printed onto luxurious pure silk satin, for a beautifully soft drape with a subtle shine.
All our scarves are carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a hand-embossed box, perfect for treasuring for years to come. They make the perfect gift for yourself or someone special.
