Description:

This is a wheel thrown stoneware vase. Wood fired soda sprayed.

Height (cm) 16
Width (cm) 12.5
Neck (cm) 6

Dimensions 12.5 × 12.5 × 16 cm
Care Instructions:

Do not use a dishwasher to clean the vase as high water pressure and overly aggressive detergents can permanently damage the surface.

Story:

This is one in a series of medium size vases, which I have thrown on a wheel. As these pieces are wood fired and soda sprayed, the decoration happens in the kiln itself. I have been experimenting with forms and textures.
