Story:

URBAN SIMPLICITY – POUR OVER COFFEE SET

The shapes naturally emerged from the sake set
which is one of the first designs ERADU Ceramics launched. There you
can see clearer lines and minimalistic silhouettes in the shapes of cups
and carafe. The tripod shape is still inspiration for Eva although it melts
down into the waves which was the previous inspiration for the designer.
The waves are more discreet now and disappear into a dripping ripples of
the brewing coffee. Once again porcelain is the material Eva choose for
producing her work. The grey hues continue to capture Eva’s imagination
as an appearance of the urban simplicity.

ERADU Ceramics

Eva Radulova is a London based designer-maker working in the field of ceramic design. ERADU Ceramics is Eva’s trademark. The brand appears as soon as Eva finished her MA in Stoke-on-Trent, the heart of the UK Ceramic industry. Bone china and Porcelain are Eva’s favourite materials. Although, she experiments with terracotta and some other clay she loves the purest white colour of bone china and the endless possibilities of colouring the porcelain. The challenge she seeks is the reinvention of shapes in the melting point of old and new. In her work Eva seeks inspiration in traditions as well as following the latest trends to accomplish the needs of the contemporary individual. With the finely crafted objects Eva makes she strives to offer pleasant vessels for enjoyable experience.
