Description:

Sweet Pea on a conker base, cast entirely in bronze with brown and verdigris patina on prickly conker case. The Sweet Pea has been left raw to show the beautiful coloration of the bronze.

Dimensions:	3.5 × 3 × 10 cm

Care Instructions:

Just brush lightly with soft small brush occasionally to bring up lustre.

Story:

This collection of Sweet Pea bronzes came about during my walks during the lockdown. Focusing on birdsong and nature. Watching first the Bluebells, then the Sweet Peas, and then the conkers form in the Horse Chestnut trees.
I used these natural forms directly in my casting process ( lost wax technique) to create solid bronze objects which retain the form and texture of the original plant.
