Product Details

Framed Embroidered Artwork – The Jay -perched amongst the leaves. Machine embroidery, applique and collage with ink and chalk detail.

Weight: 0.8 kg
Dimensions: 28 x 33 x 1.5 cm
Care Instructions:

This framed embroidery is best wall mounted away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

A bird I catch fleeting glimpses of when out walking, usually in the woods, the Jay seems to me to be quite a modest british bird – subtle colouring and markings, not bright or flashy – but with the very beautiful and distinctive stripe of blue which stands out so much and makes it easier to identify him. This detailed embroidery is combined with appliqued leaves and a collage of faded prints and silks, finished with ink and chalks.
