All of our pieces are crafted from vegetable tanned leather which ages beautifully. Over time each piece with develop a unique patina. If the surface scuffs, gently buff it using a soft cloth and a natural leather conditioner (do this every 3 - 6 months to keep the leather supple).
When we launched SARUS we were very clear that we only wanted to work with sustainably sourced vegetable tanned leather thereby committing to being as environmentally responsible as possible. The vegetable tanned leather we use is the highest quality full grain leather produced in Tuscany, Italy and carries the “Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Toscana” mark which is recognised all over the world.
We offer complimentary embossing on these journals making them a gorgeous gift for creative people.
