This necklace is strung and knotted the traditional way on silk thread. If worn a lot I would recommend having it restrung every two years.
I am always happy to restring my necklaces free of charge.
I just love this beautiful mix of these natural coloured pearls!
South Sea pearls originate from the largest pearl oyster native to warm tropical waters such as those off the coast of Australia. Theyvhave a thick nacre layer and come in silver, white, pink and gold.
Tahitian Pearls are indigenous to the remote lagoons of French Polynesia in the South Pacific. They are cultivated in the black lipped pearl oyster Pinctada Margaritifera, colours range from light silver grey to black with intense tones of blue, peacock, green and bordeaux.
