The earring is inspired by the delicate veins running through real leaves.
The leaf measures 3.5cm x 4cm, high polished and slightly domed to give this a three-dimensional look, dangling and catching the light on a continental ear fitting.

I created the silver leaf collection using the technique called casting. This is the process by which a wax pattern is made into a jewellery mould and then filled with silver grains to create a custom piece of jewellery. It is also called lost wax casting because the wax is always “lost” during the process of making jewellery.

Store your silver jewellery in an airtight box wrapped in tissue paper when not wearing it. Remove your jewellery if you are going to a swimming pool as chemicals will blacken silver. Use a silver polishing cloth or eco-cleaning method to retain or bring back the shine.
